Danylo Kalenichenko about his part in Ukraine Davis Cup team

What kind of tournamnets did you play this year? Can they be compared with Davis Cup?
D: This year I managed to play some futures and a lot more challengers
and I plan a couple of more until the end of the season. The level of these tournaments can´t be compared to the one in Davis Cup, where the TOP 100 players play.

How was the atmosphere during Davis Cup?
D: The atmosphere was uncomparable to anything I have ever expirienced.
Japanese fans were very pleasant and behaved very sportsmanlike, they were cheering our players aswell.

Are you happy with the results? How would you rate your match?
D: I know I could play better. I thouroughly enjoyed my match, even tho I didn´t show everything I can.

Do you see any weaknesses in your game?
D: Of course I see many things I should work on.

What are your plans in the near future? Do you plan any more tournaments or are you planning to rest till the end of the year?
D: Im going to play a torunament in Germany, where I will play 10000 Future and I plan to play 8-10 other tournaments this season.
