Filip Horansky won his second singles Futures title after joining L4T, overall sixth in his career from Futures category. This time, he was successful in Romanian town of Pitesti, where he lost only one set in the final.

Horansky was No. 1-seeded in Romania and he fulfilled his ambitions. Last week he reached the career high in ATP rankings – No. 323 in singles. “After whole week I felt pretty tired. It was because of temperatures and busy schedule. I felt it especially in the first set of the final. I had slow start into the match, I made many unforced errors and my serve was not as good as in previous matches,” said Horansky about the final. “After the first set, I got into my tempo and it was immediately seen in my game. I was more aggressive, I helped myself with good serve and I forced my opponent to make errors. In third set I was better of the two player again and I could have finished the game at 5-2, but I was in a rush. At 5-4, I played better game, I used my experience. My win was deserved, I think,” added Horansky, who will play now at home in Piestany, again Futures series tournament.
